Happy 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th of July to all of you!

May we never forget that being an American is a privilege, not a right.

Remember that God is in control, not the politicians.

To raise our children to be proud, not haughty, humble, not naughty, workers not whiners, servers not beggars.

Always be thankful for the blessings we each have and remember where they came from!

Hi, I joined your linky party. The liny kept coming back to the linking page and said it did not link up. Now I see it posted 3 times and there is no red X on the post so I can delete the extra links. Can you help me delete the extra 2 links. So sorry!
Thanks for the linky party and also your great patriotic post!
Have a great 4th!

Thanks for the inspiring thoughts. I couldn't agree more, especially about teaching our kids to be humble and nice. We were just talking with our neighbor today, she is a middle school teacher. She was commenting about how the kids today think they should get a "treat" every time they do something they are told to do (ie: homework, raise hand instead of talking out of turn, etc.) She said it is incredible how the kids have this entitlement complex, that it is so hard to work with. So, if I may add to your thoughts, may we teach our kids the value of doing something just because it is the right thing to do, not because you are going to get something for it!! Thanks Jill!
