Spring - Must Enjoy Before it Passes!

I'm a native Virginian.
Born and bred.
It's a wonderful state.
Rolling hills, history, the ocean.
Trees.
Yuck.
I don't like trees very much.
They tend to block my view and cramp my mind into a small tree lined box.
No thanks.

I moved to Texas when I was 19.
There is no place like Texas in the spring.

Does that sound proud?
Wow, they must be rubbing off on me.
Let me see if I can issue another bold statement...
There is no one on earth prouder than a Texan.
True fact right there.

I took these photos at the deer lease a few weeks back.
There were so many wild flowers blooming and the weather was amazing.
God did a pretty awesome job.

So I'm enjoying spring.
That's not the only reason I haven't been posting though.
I can't find the battery charger for my camera.
Maybe it's under that pile of laundry in front of me.
I'll go look...

Sometimes a USB cord will plug into your computer and charge. My phone does that when I can't find the charger...

Agreed on all counts! :) VA is beautiful, but there's just something about TX...Guess I'll always be a TX girl! :) Great pictures.

Beautiful images here. If you get your laundry caught up you can come over and work on mine. xo Diana

The last picture is my favorite. We have been in Texas for over twenty years. But, I still consider myself a Louisiana girl. Texas has it's great things and I like living here, but can't hold a stick to Louisiana food, fawna and friendliness.

This is what I call the beauty of nature! It’s always a pleasure to be able to see in person wonderful sights like this. By the way, have you found your battery charger already? Was it really under your laundry? It only means one thing, aside from taking photos, it looks you have a lot more household chores to do, and you better keep moving.

Hi. I'm your newest follower. Been going backwards thru old posts and had to put in my 2 cents. We are apparently near you in Texas, and I'm married to a Texan born in McKinney. You are so right about proud Texans. I'm a native Californian and prefer to think of myself as a Texan. I wasn't born here, but I was smart enough to move here. Love your blog.
