You see him down there waving hi? (or maybe bye?) Well once again, that's why you don't see me too much around these here parts.
He's hit the 2 month mark already, but his tummy is all infanty (new word there). These things don't last forever though...
Is there anything cuter than baby feet?
I've heard they might be coming out with a maintenance free model of the above pictured item. I think we'll pass on an upgrade though, we kinda like the one we got;-)
So I'll be popping in and out to say hello and such, but my projects are all shelved for now. Running over with some ideas though, so once my boys are all grown (15 years or so?) then I'll be catching up on some of them. Heh-heh.
That really is a joke there I think. I do hope to do a few things before then.
Canada may have come to the rescue. I'll let you know...

Talk to the girls, they had colicy babies. I was around "T" with hers more, but they may have some ideas. Love the pictures and they won't stay babies long. You will have plenty of time for projects later, when you are rested. (waving to Lee~~~)
Soooo adorable!!!
Hello! I'm a relatively "new" follower...CONGRATULATIONS on the new baby...and I agree there is NOT A THING sweeter than baby feet. Both my babies were "collicky" I think they both had a lot of stomach trouble but we used a homeopathic liquid called "Colic Calm" and I have to say the stuff was like MAGIC....we were actually able to purchase it from a local pharmacy with my second. Again blessings to the little one!
I just found your blog - on Urban Farmgirl's sidebar I think. Love your site. And your baby is adorable. I'll just enjoy checking out your older posts until the boys are in High School :).
Jill,
He is so cute! Growing so fast. You know the saying, "this too shall pass". Colicky babies don't last forever. Looking forward to seeing him in person in Sept.
He has to be one of the most beautiful babies I've every seen! Enjoy, and remember the message on a cross-stitch project I did while pregnant with my first (32 years ago):
"I HOPE THAT MY CHILDREN
WILL LOOK BACK ON TODAY,
AND SEE A PARENT
WHO HAD TIME TO PLAY.
THERE WILL BE YEARS
FOR CLEANING AND COOKING,
BUT CHILDREN GROW UP
WHEN WE'RE NOT LOOKING!"
So, I speak from experience! Enjoy this time!

I miss seeing your projects all the time, but I defintely understand the lack of "extra" time!! I have to remember that reading a book or playing dolls is more important than cute pillows or curtains in my house!
On the "infanty" tummy, we used "tummy plus" from the Sunflower Shop in Fort Worth for our babies. Most of the times just a couple of drops would fix the tummy ache. I wish you the best of luck!
gripe water was my hero for my 1st born. he wasn't too cholicy but as new parents he seemed a ton to us. Gripe water went in every bottle of his. Good luck, he's adorable!
Meg
We used Gripe Water too, and it worked sometimes, but it did not have a very long shelf life, which was a bummer. We also used another homeopathic, Lana told me about, but I can't remember the name,it seemed to work really good. We just put 3 "pills" in a bottle and let them dissolve, then gave Tara the bottle like normal. She had bad colic for the first 9 weeks, then it started leveling off and finally disappeared around 4 months. Hope it gets better!
Oh, and yeah, he's a keeper!!
It's been so long ago, 16 years+ but I think it was homeopathic "chamomille" (the little white sugar pill kind.) Lana
PS Lee is just precious.
Cute! How adorable!
affordable medical insurance
I hope the KOLIK works!! Give them all a hug for me!
