To Do: Hibernate For The Winter And Some Other Stuff

I dislike Winter. Very much. So to combat my dislike for it, I plan on filling it with so many projects that I don't even notice the dreary gray seeping through my windows, or the cold that seizes my muscles and makes them ache. I also hate being cold. So I will work so hard that I will stay in a constant state of sweatiness. Sounds delightful huh?

So my first project will actually be completed before Winter dawns with its bareness.
I just picked this up at an Estate Sale for $10. I can't wait to tackle this one, though my reupholstering skills are yet to be honed.

Wish me luck.

I hate the winter as well~ I'm from Tennessee, but have been in Colorado for 3 years - we are actually having a fall this year...last year it snowed (ALOT) in October! I think I will follow your advice and plan TONS of projects to get me through the cold months! Love your blog : )

I love it. Be sure to wear gloves when removing all of those little nails, I see blisters in the future (knowledge from past experience). It will be so lovely finished. Love the blog. New projects for the winters months will blossom from your fertile mind and you won't even know it is cold. Hope to see you soon. Helen

Very cool bench. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm with you on hating winter! I've got tons of projects sitting out in the garage half started so I'm thinking I might follow your lead and try to get a whole bunch done while we must be cooped up inside! Hopefully this winter will go fast and spring will come early next year!

Winter? What winter? I love winter. Might be because average temp is 68 to 70. Oh well... Love the bench!!! If you decide to get rid of it, I bet i could find a spot for it. LM

I dislike the winter also, "snow" is a 4-letter word to me!!! LOL!!! I love your bench and I'm sure it will look stunning when complete. If you get tired you can pop over to my blog and snack on a Boston Cream Pie Cupcake - to die for! I enjoyed my visit today!
