I had to choose between some really good ones this week, but JoLynn over at Wood'n Things got my final vote.
She took this rather unattractive rooster picture from the goodwill and added some paint.
Look at the great new look!
I plan on doing a post about chalkboards sometime soon. I have to confess that I have somewhat of a phobia about them, I can't even let my my mind wander to the whole fingernail thing..... yuck, can't type it all out. Or the feel of chalk on your hands. Gives me chill bumps and not in a good way.
So, anyway I love what she did and that it only cost her a few dollars! Be sure to look at the little baby onesies she added transfers too as well. So Cute!
Your turn. Wow me! (we did make it to 10 last week, but one of them was accidentally linked back to me. Try again please!!!)
1. Only link your post, not your blogs address!
2. Be sure to take that button at the top with you so that everyone can know where you're linking up!
3. Please only link crafts, DIY projects and the like. I don't want to delete your link!

thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to your chalk board post, I have been thinking about trying one, but still not quite sure how. Oh, so with you on the finger nail on chalk board thing, it makes me cringe and get chills just thinking about it!
Beautiful linky idea, I love the concept and theme for this. This is a thrifter's mantra.
Thanks for hosting! :)

Thanks for the shout-out! :) I appreciate it. I have sooo many projects on tap to do, but somehow have not been able to find much time lately to work on them. Maybe once summer is over I will get busy again!! I look forward to seeing your chalkboard too.
I just found your blog and entered one of my many projects to your Party... I'm also looking forward to seeing "how you do the chalkboard" ... I'm thinking of doing the back of my pantry door with the chalkboard paint!..
Thanks for Hosting!
