Antique Alley...Need I Say More?

I am not an early riser. Never have been and probably never will be.
But...
Twice a year there is a glorious event near me called Antique Alley. Does that sound divine? I thought so.

So my alarm went off at an unearthly hour of 7:15 and I spent a few hours digging through piles of gold. I almost cried as I passed some beautiful junk yard sales on the way home. My self restraint amazed even me.

Antique Alley spreads down the highway about 25 miles and is every Spring and Fall. If you live around the DFW area in Texas and haven't ever heard of, well...now you have and you best get yourself down there since it just started today and goes through this rainy weekend.

Here are some of the great finds that I haggled for...
I got a pair of these for just $15!! (I know, I know!!!) Is this upside down though? I can't figure it out.

This is my new best friend and he will soon find himself hanging on the wall in the pool house.

Pictures don't do this little bird apartment building thingy justice. When I saw the pretty little sticker that said $1 I knew it would soon be resting in my passenger seat. (lap belt firmly in place of course)

Ok, so I know many of you are jumping into your 1979 Ford Pinto's and heading this way, but trust me, you're going to need to bring the 1977 Volkswagen Vanogon for this.

By the way, you can scroll down just a bit more and link up to this weeks We Can Do It Cheaper party. Go ahead, be my linker buddy. Or something like that...

Have a Great Weekend!!
